The Bubble Did Not Burst

from the it's-still-going-strong dept

An interesting opinion piece suggesting that the “technology bubble” cannot burst. This is in response to Robert Rubin’s claim that the old economy is still in charge around the world. Basically, the point of the article is that none of the “downturn” has really upset people. They’re just dusting themselves off and trying again – and being more careful about it. I agree to some extent, but some folks definitely have been running scared. Also, while I think it’s valuable that people are trying again, it’s more interesting to see whether they really learned from their experiences, or are just going to repeat the same mistakes over and over again.
