Waiting In Line For The PlayStation 2

A friend of mine mentioned today that there was a line of people wrapped around the Metreon waiting for the new Playstation 2. That’s about the time I decided to avoid that part of town. I understand that it’s supposed to be cool, but camping out for it? Seems a bit extreme. I wish there were some way to connect this bizarre gathering with the fact that 72,000 customers in SF lost power tonight but that’s probably a stretch.

Sony still loves the US
Amusingly enough Sony decided to send as many shipments as they could to the US, happily delaying the UK launch and no one seems to be complaining! I think everyone in the UK should buy a dreamcast in protest, I have!
