It’s always interesting to get some of the “behind the scenes” looks into firms and their relationships with their backers. For anyone who’s ever worked on either side of the fence, the relationships are often not as comfy and happy as the press likes to make them out to be. Here’s an article talking a bit about the struggles between Idealab and one of its company’s, HomePage.com. Of course, it’s pretty bad PR for this to be coming out now as Idealab continues to push for its own IPO.
