Spirituality and Cyberspace

from the do-they-belong-together? dept

I thought this was an interesting set of articles on a topic that is not often discussed: religion and cyberspace. The first article is about the spiritual cyborg and talks about ways spirituality and technology come together. The second article is called Is Cyberspace a Spiritual Place and questions whether or not the internet can be seen as a spiritual place. To be honest, my first reaction on reading both pieces was that they were a stretch – trying to prove a thesis with whatever information they could dig up. However, the concept is still interesting and worth reading about. I’d be very interested to hear from people who have a strong opinion on these pieces, whether good or bad.
