Analysts Question Big Brands on the Net

from the it-gets-worse-and-worse-and-worse dept

Okay, so originally, everyone was saying that it was all about the fast innovative startups, and big brick and mortar companies were in trouble when it came to e-commerce. Then, the market went south, and everyone forgot what they said originally and pointed out the “obvious” thing that brick and mortar stores have an advantage online. Now, the latest view, is that brick and mortar stores are being hurt by their online businesses and are wasting a lot of money by going online. Maybe no one should be selling anything online. Also, maybe, just maybe, analysts should learn to actually analyze, rather than just go along with the prevailing mood of investors.
