Yep, these are all potentially cool...
Polymers are neat, aren’t they? But chemists aren’t pharmacologists. Aspirin seems to be a safe drug now, but if aspirin had been discovered yesterday, it probably wouldn’t make it through the FDA approval process. So it might actually take a long time for ‘platic drugs’ to be commercial. And in the end, it’s probably cheaper to just put aspirin in a gel capsule…
