Should Las Vegas casinos be afraid of online gambling taking away their business? It doesn’t seem like it, for a variety of reasons. First off, the atmosphere is pretty different to be in a big casino compared to sitting at your computer at home (though they do make the comparison to sitting at a slot machine all night). Also, people tend to trust the real world casinos a bit more. What the article doesn’t mention is that Las Vegas also has the buffets and washed up entertainers.
