High profile entertainment site Pop.com has delayed its launch making many people wonder if this is going to be yet another high profile flop-on-arrival. It’s got all the makings of an overhyped failure. The big backers: Steven Spielberg, Jeffrey Katzenberg, Ron Howard and Brian Grazer. The launch has been delayed, there are claims of “shifting strategies” and there’s lots of competition that’s already out there. It will be interesting to see how well they do when they get around to putting something up.
