Here’s an interesting study that looks at online traffic and buying habits. The results might not be what you’d expect. In many cases, as a consumer gets used to a certain website, they’ll tend to spend less time there and instead go directly to what they need and get out. There’s also some interesting information about segmenting visitors based on their traffic patterns on the site.
