Why Ray Lane Left Oracle

from the Ellison-taking-back-control dept

There has been lots of speculation as to why Ray Lane abruptly quit Oracle a couple of weeks ago. He finally spoke up and said that Larry Ellison has decided to restructure the organization, taking back more power for himself, and leaving Ray out of it. In other words, it was a way for Larry to get rid of Lane. The rest of the article is really interesting as well, as it discusses what the company might be like without Lane. One thing you know for sure, with Ellison exerting more power, it should be fun to watch.
