RIAA Goes Crazy Against Napster

from the getting-pointless dept

They just don’t learn or give up, do they? The latest move by the recording industry is to sue to have Napster remove all major label songs from its service. Of course, once again, Napster doesn’t actually store or offer any of those songs, so it’s fairly difficult for them to block the exchange of them, isn’t it? Why doesn’t the music industry realize that Napster and other products like it are really just the next generation of radio? Anyway, all they’re going to do is maybe force Napster to shut down, and then everyone will migrate to other products like Gnutella, which can’t be shut down.
