White House claims innocence

The White House is claiming it was simply an accident that it lost a good chunk of email sent from outside parties. I tend to think that they wouldn’t be lying about something like this. First and foremost nothing all that earth-shattering would be sent through standard email, with no encryption or security to begin with. Let’s face it, it’s not rocket science to monitor an unsecured stream of data, regardless of where it’s going. Second, shit happens. I lost an entire volume of data yesterday. Does that mean I was trying to hide something from the CNET executives? Doubtful…
