Corporate bickering

from the Focus-on-your-own-business dept

Novell is accusing Microsoft of distributing Windows 2000 Server with a major security hole. Now, I’m the last one to defend Microsoft, but in this case I really don’t see this as anything other than Novell grasping at straws to stay in the game. The root level access has been around in UNIX for years and Microsoft simply adopted that philosophy. Guess what folks? If you can’ t trust your high level admin, you’ve got other problems to worry about.
