Lastminute IPO

Have you heard of lastminute.com ? If not, you obviously haven’t been following one of the hotest .coms here in Europe. Lastminute.com’s IPO value has been set at ?345 million (about $525 million dollars). Why is this interesting, well apart from the fact that it is the second best known .com in England, there’s been a lot of hype surrounding it. From what I’ve found out, even though their financials aren’t impressive (very few .coms are) they’ve built an extremely strong brand here in Europe. Obviously, this can change but at the moment lastminute.com looks as if will become one of the heavy weights here in England (and beyond).
