Are Free Corporate PCs Good or Bad?

from the altruism-or-an-insidious-plan-to-make-people-work-at-home dept

Following on last week’s announcements from both Ford and Delta that they will be providing workers with free PCs Wired is running an article discussing whether or not this is a good, altruistic decisions or a sneaky plan to force workers to bring work home. The definite winner, though, is PeoplePC who is providing the PCs in both cases. Of course, I wonder if folks are going to get annoyed at the advertisements that PeoplePC forces on their users.
