It seems that the folks at SETI@Home are getting ready to launch a new version of their client. The article had some interesting facts about how things are going currently. With all the people who have been using SETI@Home, they have surplus computing power. They’ve actually been able to dig into backlog data, because so many people have passed on their spare cycles for this cause.
