Phone.com vs. Microsoft

from the it's-browser-time-again dept

Welcome to round two of the browser wars Microsoft vs. Phone.com. Have you ever heard of phone.com ? They are a company that makes web browsers for mobile phones, after signing some major deals with carriers such as AT&T, Microsoft (as well as a few other companies) have decided to enter in the competition to provide similar browser software. Is Phone.com going to become the next Netscape ? My bet for the time being is that Microsoft has a little catching up to do and they’ll be a little cautious about crushing another compititor so soon after being declared a monopoly.
