Raising Money Not So Easy

from the those-damn-investors dept

A very interesting article in Red Herring suggesting that despite all the money flowing through VC firms, it’s still not easy to raise money if you’re an entrepreneur. I know this first hand, but for months all we’ve been seeing are articles about how you must be a moron if you can’t raise money in this environment. This article, however, suggests that new entrepreneurs are finding it more and more difficult. While I agree that it is difficult, I don’t necessarily think this is a bad thing. Too many entrepreneurs seem to feel that investors owe them the money, and not that they have to earn it.
