Home/Work Life Blurring

from the good,-bad,-indifferent? dept

A new study shows that home and work life are blurring. I don’t necessarily think this is a bad thing for people who have enough self discipline to make sure their lives are balanced. Where it causes trouble, and the reason most people get scared when they read these sorts of studies, is for people who can’t and feel obligated to just keep on working. Otherwise, though, I think it tends to make work a more enjoyable experience, as it’s not just “the job” you go to, but a part of your life.
