Barnes & Noble Buys Into Publishing on Demand

Barnes and Noble has bought a significant stake in iUniverse, an on-demand book publisher, as it appears they’re hoping to expand the services they offer. I’ve always thought that books on demand was an interesting concept, but it would have to be executed perfectly to make it work. It will be interesting to see what Barnes and Noble does with it.
