Computer Generated Advertising

Apparently some researchers have found that advertisements generated by a computer were at least as good as those created by humans. Of course, as you read the details of the article there are a lot of things to question. The formula they used to create the ads was pretty simple, and someone must have set up the programs with the basic knowledge of what the different images conveyed. If someone had given me a set of images with words that suggest what they convey, it’s not all that hard to flip through them and pick out two to put together to create a simple advertisement.
