Microsoft Finally Gets Instant Messaging

from the it's-about-time dept

It’s somewhat amazing that it’s taken this long for Microsoft to get into the instant messaging business. On the good side of things, it will work (apparently) with AOL instant messenger, and they’re working towards a standard for communication between these tools. The sooner they can do this the better. I’m sick of people telling me which application they use, and deciding whether or not it’s worth getting.
