Story on BBC that the University of Glamorgan in UK will offer a degree in Science and Science Fiction starting this fall. The program will examine real science and the science fiction manifestations, using popular books and movies in the curriculum. A quote from the them, via BBC: “Students will tackle topics such as ‘Will robots take over the earth?'” A recommendation for those considering the program: minor in economics, for god’s sake.
