Recycling Spam

from the interesting-ideas dept

Haven’t seen this exact spin on the whole spam issue before. Apparently, there’s a new company that wants you to recycle your spam mail by sending it to them. They will then alert spam filters and the FTC. Of course, the company’s main business, however, is to get you to opt-in to email advertising. Businessweek paints this as a funny contradiction, but I don’t think so. They obviously understand the difference between unsolicited and solicited commercial email. Not that I’m sure there’s a real big business in there, but it’s still worth noting.
