Ray Lane to HP or Compaq?

Not that it’s any big surprise, but news reports are starting to put more weight behind the idea that Oracle’s Ray Lane might be considering the top spots at HP or Compaq. It’s certainly an obvious choice, though he has ignored offers to become CEO elsewhere in the past. What’s interesting to me is that in the past he has been somewhat vocal when refusing offers. I haven’t seen that yet this time.
