Amazon.com Goes Shopping (Again)

from the triple-play dept

Amazon.com is throwing around more of its money today, as they snapped up three more companies: Exchange.com, Alexa Internet, and Accept.com. Exchange is interesting, Alexa is a bit of a surprise, though I was wondering about their business model. Accept is very interesting as no one really knew what they were doing. All that was public was the fact that they were funded by both Benchmark and Kleiner Perkins so they must have had something going for them. Now, that something will be going for Amazon.
