Network Solutions Screws Up (Again)

In this past Up-To-Date, I mentioned that Network Solutions had killed off a number of legitimate web sites in their attempt to clear off domain speculators. I was referring to the story of webtechs.com (no link, go yourself if you want to see it), which got booted, despite being legitimate. It was a very popular site, and linked to from many locations, and now a porn site has taken control over the domain. You can read all about how badly Network Solutions screwed up there, as written by the domain owner. This story hasn’t been picked up by the press as far as I can tell. Now, however, Network Solutions has also killed off the site of the well known marketing research firm, the Aberdeen Group. In response Aberdeen has posted a report about how stupid Network Solutions is.
