Atari History Fanatics
from the to-each-his-or-her-own dept
The Village Voice has an article about a completely fanatical “Atari historian”. This is interesting to me (and probably no one else) as my first computer was an Atari 800 that I used for many many many years. In a world where cool geeks all started out with TI’s or Apple’s, I had my reliable 800 (which is why I turned out to be such a lame geek). Ah… computing nostalgia.

I was a teenage Atari user
My first computer was an Atari 800xl. I loved that thing, too bad the storage media were so undependable back then. I’d love to have the code I slaved over for weeks back then, just to fire up on an emulator. Sigh.
