We all know that Internet company valuations are more of an art than a science. But the cable company deals up the ante in the hyper-valuation trend. The Comcast/MdeiaOne deal is valued at $48-60 billion. Today’s Media Grok made an often over looked observation about the valuations of broadband players:


“It’s amazing, even to the Grok team, the valuations the market is putting on the speculative future of broadband when the combined efforts of the two largest players barely cracks half a million homes.”

Are the valuations justified?
