I certainly have made clear some of the problems with various social networking services like LinkedIn, but one area that many people have been successful in using LinkedIn is for recruiting. With that in mind, knowing that Oracle is cutting 5,000 jobs -- mostly from PeopleSoft -- some have noticed that PeopleSoft employees are flooding onto LinkedIn, with 3,700 new accounts from PeopleSoft employees in the last month. It's still not entirely clear how the company is going to make money, but it's clearly being considered the new job board to use in some circles.
