Next Generation iMac

from the looks-pretty-cool dept

Okay, I realize there are a ton of Mac rumors sites out there, but the Register is running a picture of what some anonymous source tells them is the next generation iMac. They point out that this could be simply creative photoshop work - but that it does incorporate a large number of recent Apple rumors into one simple machine. Finally, they make a point which I agree with - even if this is just a rumor, it looks like a pretty cool machine that Apple probably should build.

Just a little note of clarification on this matter. Despite what certain Apple fanatics who read Techdirt think, I am - in no way - anti-Apple. I think they're very good at a lot of things. However, when Apple does something that I think is silly and which I think is worth talking about on Techdirt, I point it out. When they do something I think is cool and I think is worth talking about on Techdirt, I'll point that out as well.

So, for instance, should they chose not to create this fairly smart design for the next iMac, and instead decide to go with another oversized hunk o' useless translucent plastic - I might say something negative.
