The moral of the story is you're too lazy to pay for any music and will endlessly make up excuses. There are good pay-for-mp3 sites out there without any DRM. Download it once and voila, and endless supply of music. If you're too cheap to buy music, at least man-up and admit it instead of using "I'm too lazy to figure this stuff out" lame excuses.
Considering I'd never had known about this hack otherwise, thanks for the suing!
Also, I doubt 99.9% of people even know WTF the article is talking about much, much less how to reproduce any of the hacks after having read the info.
This was on an episode of Weeds a while back where the DEA was using the heat signatures from infrared to track growers.
Charter communications already does the 3-strikes rule, too. I've been in areas that use charter for the last 5 years, and I've only known one person in all that time to get a notice, so chances of getting 3 strikes isn't all that great.
This kind of reminds me of the whole argument on the radio's part where it is free advertising for the labels.
I haven't heard about this artist before, and I'm in love after listening on myspace- I love mashups.
At the same time, there's a lot of snippets I'm interested in now and want to buy- songs I'd never have heard otherwise. Because of these songs, other artists are getting free advertising and I'm much more apt to purchase their music.
OK, so adblock is saying the advert business model doesn't always work? I'm curious- what is the alternative? It's been addressed some in this post already, but TD uses ads themselves. If everyone used AdBlock and no money was made of adverts, what kind of business model would be used to support the website?
Going by her 2001 example, I don't buy it. As far as I've seen, internal networks are not affected by net-neutrality legislation, and are free to block p2p, video streaming, etc content. Actually, in a hospital with tight security restrictions, I would hope content filtering is turned on.
Re: Online Poker Cheating Scam Unraveled
Possibly, but for some, it's also a money maker. I had a couple of friends in college who were literally making thousands of dollars a month playing part time. If you're a) really good & know what you're doing and b) have the tools for statical analysis of the game at your disposal, you can make some decent money in online poker.
