I could see confusion arising, I mean I all ready associate LV's products as overpriced shit!
Uhm... How about you actually read the article...
" I've fired off a FOIA request asking for the details of these "seized" domains and the communications with those industry partners. Should ICE ever decide to obey the law and respond to the FOIA, we'll share it here. I wouldn't recommend holding your breath."
Straight from the last paragraph of the article.
One other point to this, the ads can't be "sold, they are in the public domain in this scenario so how is he/she going to make money off this?
Uhm... Firefox is no longer a good example here. they include a lot of tracking and while they claim they do not sell it, their sponsors have unlimited access to it and can use or sell it as they see fit. Yes you still can disable almost all of the collecting but some of this requires a level of knowledge that most users do not have.
Not sure about the laws where this happened, but in Ohio, supposedly when an Officer does something that breaks the law (Bribery in this example) they automatically lose their protections afforded to LEO's at the time they commit the crime as determined by the victim of the crime, not later in court, though for conviction the court has to agree.
I used the word "supposedly" because that is what the laws state but it is almost never enforced. I could not find a single example anywhere in Ohio where it was enforced, though my search was not the most thorough.
No thank you, They are so full of bad cholesterol and preservatives that it would probably send a normal human body into shock.
Don't forget the added cost of extra customer service to help fix the issues caused by both the DRM and by the DRM server going down, as well as the reputational costs of the above mentioned issues!
Also, a number of LEO organizations got slapped on the wrist for setting people up to be busted under the laws, yet none of the ones that were tricked into it were removed from the sex offender lists. We are talking the "Under-aged person" starting the sex talk through chat/text. then when the person who was setup responded in anyway including telling the "under-aged person" no, they were arrested and most took plea deals to keep from losing everything.
They don't care because they don't listen anyways, unless there is a big paycheck (I mean "Campaign Donation") attached to the comment.
Very sad but true.
Can we say "SDCC learned how to buy a judge." ... Very good.
"
Defendants’ agreement has a plainly anti-competitive effect and has no rational economic justification, as they are willing to lose revenue from conservative organizations and individuals like Freedom Watch and those similarly situated to further their leftist agenda and designs to effectively overthrow President Trump and his administration and have installed leftist government in this district and the 50 states.
Citation needed. "
More like "Reality check" needed, and in this case it failed every time!
Unfortunately, the case your are describing is happening in my City and will end up with the LEO getting a slap on the wrist unless another LEO agency (not local) gets involved.
Most of the local (County and City) LEO's think this is fine, even the "Good Cops."
Isn't calling politicians "Thought Leader's" an oxymoron?
"We like to think we are great, but we're about 2 seconds from being a banana republic."
This is the only point I disagree with, I think we are all ready there.
"perhaps the most corrupt state in the union"
For those who don't know, this could be worded as "The most visibly corrupt state in the union"
This is like: You get robbed because you do not lock your door, then blame the door or lock manufacturer because the door/lock wasn't designed to lock automatically.
He found out that there was no offer on the table from Sinclair for when he steps down.
Re: Sucks to be a bad parent
That is part of the point, FB did not make it clear that further purchases would be authorized by what the parent/child thought was a one time purchase. Most other companies make that clear from the outset or give the option to set it as one time purchase or full authorized for any purchase.
