I cancelled my Netflix account, not because I'm directly impacted by this (I am not. No one outside of my immediate household used my account) but on principle. Most Netflix-exclusive shows make it to physical media eventually, do I can still consume those shows that way. It sign up for a single month when a new season drops, if it's something I just can't wait for. Will my actions bankrupt Netflix? Not at all. But I still felt it was the right thing to do.
I have been a Netflix customer since they only offered DVDs by mail. My wife and I are currently separated with split custody of our children. I have four streaming services I pay for so that the kids have plenty of entertainment, and all accounts are set up on all their devices, regardless of which home they are in. If Netflix tries to squeeze me for more money because my kids use our account from multiple locations, after recently having hiked their rates yet again, and I unable to get around the restriction via a VPN between the two homes, I'll gladly drop their service.
Ms. Klubov, even if everything you say is true, I find no relevance to the discussion at hand. I would suggest that you Google the term "logical fallacy" to see just how irrelevant it it.
FYI, not only has the Facebook post been removed, but a conversation on their page has been deleted as well, calling them out for threatening an 18 year old student. The son could not explain how "IT IS A GOOD WAY TO GET SUED" might not be a threat, and then took offence to comments using "you" on the company's page when referring to the company.
Unfortunately, our system is set up in such a way that it resists the attempt to vote in anyone other than one of the major party candidates, at least as far as the executive branch is concerned. And voting in 3rd parties for Congress has only had extremely limited success. Don't get me wrong, I completely agree that we need new parties in power than what our options are now. But I also realize that it's far from our fault, and my vote is mostly symbolic as I vote for an alternate-party candidate.

Except I don't recall those in the Constitution. But even if everyone conceded these points (without arguing their constitutionality), it's still beside the point he was making. Bad copyright law obliterates several Constitutional rights by taking away due process and stifling free speech.
I've changed my name to "they," so this person is on very thin ice claiming that I (meaning "they") robbed anyone of anything. They (meaning Taylor Hackford, not me) better watch their (again, Taylor Hackford, not me) back for lawyers. They (meaning the lawyers, not me, and certainly not Taylor Hackford) like this sorta stuff because they (lawyers again) get to practice their (umm, lawyers...) art against them (Taylor Hackford and the like, not me nor the lawyers) and their (Taylor Hackford again) lawyers. I (meaning they) don't need these sorts of accusations because my (meaning their) life has gotten really confusing since changing me (their) name to "they."

Been there, done that. Now only work on open source projects as a result ;)

Usenet
Just go old-school and find a Usenet server that still offers the binary newsgroups ;)
"They" did NOT rob anyone

Well, there's an IT certification I won't be pursuing ;)
