The consequences of this sort of thing are going to span decades. Let that sink in.Decades? Try generations, if you're lucky.
I realise all of that. By the time you lot wake up the republic will have died, to rapturous applause, along with the rest of your comparatively limited freedoms.
You're serious..? Did you read the victim's two blog posts on the matter? You actually find a shred of sympathy for this fuckhat of a "journalist"? The halfwit could easily have ended a career and livelihood, if not for the damn victim spotting it and showing up in the comments. Sickess could be part of an explanation, but it is no excuse. This is the first time he's been caught. How many of his articles contain undetected LLM hallucinations, do you reckon? Even if the answer actually is zero - Ars Technica itself is the very last outfit, perhaps barring CBS, I'd trust to ascertain that.
I can't tell if you're serious or deriding the wait-and-see crowd. Anyways: yes - purging fascists is a beastly business, but it needs doing, post-haste.
Again: Fascists don't go away unless killed. Start now, or kiss your damn republic goodbye.
Not surprised in the slightest given Ars Technica shills hard for any and all LLM shithousery that comes their way. Same with Berger and his Musk/SpaceX bootlicking. Edwards did know better, yet still managed to perform a partial character assassination through his abysmal decision-making. Ars' "retraction" was woefully inadequate as far as retractions/corrections go. Ars' nuking any discussion of the fuck-up in their own subscriber forum was a spectacularly good move on top of that. The journalistic integrity of Ars is dust. Not surprising considering Conde Nast holds their leashes.
Yah. Hence the Grand Old Paedophiles' largely-successful, decades-long, crusade against education. I sincerely doubt most Trumpets are capable of parsing the language used to condemn them, at this point (if indeed they ever were, which is one hell of an assumption with those people, granted), because much of the English language has been kept hidden from them by endless redistricting and re-budgeting to concentrate what little educational resources are allowed into whiter and/or richer areas. That'll take well over a generation to fix, if it can be done. I'm not leaning optimistic.
More generally, a recent analysis in Nature magazine, reported by Science magazine, found that scientists embracing AI — of any kind — “consistently make the biggest professional strides”:Nature and Science both into the fuck-it bucket, then. Also Techdirt, unless its credibility finds a way out of the LLM worship gutter I'm watching it crashing into.
Holy old fuck, she pounds X is a wild-ass sentence to be reading in the real god damn world. Couldn't have made it sound more like an addictive substance if I tried.
The irony of an almost-sentient sack of wasted chemical energy like you calling so much as a marzipan dildo, never mind a human, a fuckwit is fantastically funny to me. You must be new here, or you'd have made a token effort, at least. Try again, doggie.
Nah, not faceless, unless maybe the actual native population decide scalping is in vogue again (I can but hope). After they've been promoted to a higher plane, you'll still need photos and IDs of the ICE rats. ICE rat records need keeping; ICE rat names and faces need preserving in infamy, for all time, both as examples and warnings.
Golden opportunity for crowd sourcing. Arm anyone saying they're willing to start popping rats.
Oh, I'm well aware. Thing is, though, the ICE rats are fast dehumanising themselves in the eyes of pretty much everyone who ain't a racist or paedophile. The video of the girl being handcuffed and dragged into a port-a-potty by an ICE rat should've concluded with the ICE rat's summary execution. Same with the case in (iirc) Minneapolis where the ICE rats tear gassed a family to the point their infant stopped breathing. And with the case of an ICE rat SUV running a red, t-boning a civilian, followed by the rats kidnapping the driver they t-boned. Start killing them. Now.
So much for that there second amendment. Start sorting the ICE rats out now or have a hundred or a thousand times the trouble rooting the infestation out in ten years. These kinds of nearly-but-not-quite-humans respond only to overwhelming violence. Give it to them.
Yay. This was meant as a reply to your reply to me above, as you've probably concluded :)
You may have summed it up perfectly, just there. Shame, really, but they've been on borrowed time since Condé Nast bought them. Took them longer than I thought to succumb (sold out in '08 or '09), I'll give them that, but succumb they did.
Because it sure reads like it was written specifically to please Conde Nast or asswipes like them. You know - the kind firing their actual journalists and pushing "AI"-generated articles riddled with fallacies and general idiocy. Subject title ain't a rhetorical question, because you had to have known how this piece would go dowm 'round these parts.
Here's hoping it gets the numbers, but given absolutely fuck-all has been done thus far, despite a mounting death toll and reports of preventable-disease outbreaks not seen for decades, I can't see many suits caring much more today than they did yesterday, or last week. I predict it'll take said politicians seeing their own children in iron lungs, or dying of encephalitis or something, before the gravity of the shituation dawns on them. Even if the CDC suddenly reverted to doing its job tomorrow, fully staffed and showered in budget, the true consequences of that monster's actions are still going to keep developing for years, regardless. The drops in vaccination rates alone are a huge problem, and one that hasn't even 'peaked' in terms of its effects yet, at that. Unless vaccination rates magically turn around again in a real hurry, but I don't see that happening for a while, either.
lol
I'm getting the urge to start crowd-funding DDOS and doxxing attacks on data brokers and their personnel, on pure principle. Fuck the parasites into ignominious ends.
