  I have an idea, a camera that will look for all black and blue clothed people at the front door and lock down and dismount encrypted file volumes.

  The Netflix encryption provides no benefit, it actually is harmful for the environment.
  
  The moves are a know length and a know size provided a given connection speed. The ISP will always be able to tell what you are watching.
  
  Further because video encoding does not produce a stream of bits at a constant rate the variation during the stream would quickly tell them what you started watching.
  
  It is pointless.

  It might also be technical knowledge that Tesla needs for cars to be fixed. Later down the road they will need to allow for a third party supply chain so people can fix their own cars or have a local shop do it.

  People do not act in self interested ways as economics people think. And sometimes what seems to be anti self interest might bring them fellow bigoted business.

  When you combine private industry with government paying a predefined price you cause a situation where employees are pressed to do more and get paid less.
  
  So you then end up with employees who misbehave and are of reduced spending power for the local economy. They also have erratic and irrational spending due to the inherent insecurity.

  In the EU democrats are nothing like democrats here in the US same goes for liberal party members in Europe. The democrats in the EU are closer to our now extinct centrist Republicans.
