  I think it was either stop signs or traffic lights or that one flashing amber light.
  The real question though is why is a LEO in the middle of an intersection in the first place? Part of self driving vehicles is being able to communicate and coordinate with all the others nearby.
  I am fairly certain that even the Skoda will rank much higher on the intelligence and reaction times than some meat sack standing on a paint bucket.

  Saying that returning that much active biomass to the environment could be detrimental is just plain mental.
  Where is the imagination? Why not modify kelp to not require an anchor? How about free floating air plants? I kind of like the idea of green clouds that rain strawberries.

  But very little learning. Pale Ale predates the 1980s variety.
  I seem to recall somewhere that British Brewers made such a beverage in the age of empire to survive the long shipping journeys to their far flung thirsty consumers.

  Here in my locale plates are now 4 letters 3 digits. They are already into the late B series and as far as I know all the combinations in the sequence have been issued. I have seen a BUTT as well as an AFRO yet the same stupidity on custom plates happens here until the ministry gets called on it in the media.
  Same story but different profession in that a pastor had his long standing plates rejected when he needed to replace them. I REV.... was considered to promote street racing.

  I can agree that the city didn't do their due diligence but that doesn't absolve the criminal from the crime.
  Shame and punish the city officials who collided but pillory the real crooks while you are at it else the same will happen again.

  The whole premise for space mining and manufacturing is to provide materials and equipment for use in space instead of schlepping everything up and down the gravity well.
  Once the system is in place and self sustainable the only import for a long while will be skilled labour and exports limited to stuff that would be cheaper and easier to manufacture up top.
  Heck, solar power would be a major export with microwave energy beamed to multi kilometer antennas in remote regions with next to no indigenous life that would be at risk under such antennas.

  Did they follow up with the complainant and do a psychological assessment to determine if she needed to be taken away or given a position with customs and excise?
