  How dare you!

  I mean how dare you guys report facts in a way that properly lays them out so people can understand whats going by doing some research about the issue at hand. REAL news organizations and blogs ignore facts and put a twist on everything and listen to the crazy man who thinks he bought a company that he never actually bought.

  I mean was Craigslist supposed to give the money collected from these ads over to Blumenthal and his buddies or something? Sounds like this guy is pissed he isn't seeing any of that cash being handed to him.

  Next time

  The next step will be to have a message that pops up and will ask the person for proof of purchase, a 45 digit key printed on the receipt, every 10 minutes. The game will then phone home to get a 25 digit key which it will then read out loud. The player must then enter that 25 digit key correctly within 30 seconds or its Game Over. If you reach game over all your data is corrupted and you must purchase a brand new copy of the game.

  What I said had nothing to do with buying it, its the fact the entire movie is left up completely untouched by DMCA takedown notices yet simple parodies are being pulled down left and right.

  If you do a search on youtube you can find the ENTIRE movie on there, divided up into several parts of course. All of them are still up and going without a single DMCA yet they do a takedown of the parodies!

  So its honest and right to restrict how and when I can and cannot use MY purchased product? Telling me I MUST have an internet connection to play a single player game or embedding hidden information in my files, or using other DRM to effectively punish a legitimate customer or making me sit through all these different screens to watch my movies. Well that seems a bit shady and dishonest to punish those who payed you money now doesn't it.

  Whats got me...

  Its not so much the crap tracker as it is the second guy in the story. Its just got me curious as to who the hell orders bottles of soda for delivery from a pizza place? That just seems a bit strange for a variety of reasons.

  Because for each treaty, ACTA and CETA, you multiply the real number by 2 for each treaty you have. In this case had they signed both they would have found about 1 million counterfeit DVDs :D

  Sometimes I think that a majority of the problem is that people think the government is some all powerful entity that can do anything regardless of how impossible it actually is. They have problems and the government is supposed to some how step in, wave a magic stick, and boom everything is flawlessly solved. The big and small labels want the government to come up with some foolproof way to stop all forms of file sharing, its impossible, but they think if they tell the government to do it then its magically going to get done and be possible. If these labels would add value to their songs, give me a reason to buy, file sharing as a "problem" WILL disappear because it will then be the solution.

  Yah that was another problem I remember reading about DNF as well, they kept wanting to copy others in a way, by using the game engines others came out with. This made it so the best they could ever do was constantly play catchup instead of making their own and going towards making something new and better.

  Behind the scenes

  I mean I have a feeling there are palms being greased behind the scenes and this is all just a way to try and force the website to shut down completely. There is no possible way they can figure out an fool proof plan to begin with aside shutting down completely or having some multimillion dollar operation in which all files are uploaded, individually reviewed, and approved.
