  He is more referring to the people who support the patent system the way it is and come to the site saying that any reform is unneeded, wanting reform is wrong, and everything is in near perfect working order with the system. They are mostly trolls who pop up every now and then.

  Simply Beach possibly reinstated

  A couple articles I have read on this whole thing put an update out recently that mentions the Simply Beach app was reinstated although no mention was given to developers.

  And just because I say I will pay doesn't mean I am going to go through with it or that I HAVE paid. Its just saying I might some day pay for this content which is all great and wonderful. It doesn't matter how you spin the chart through, only a MAX of 15% of people surveyed have ACTUALLY shelled out money, that's not a lot. Most of the time its less than 10% though which is even worse. But alas people who attempt to turn infinite to finite and sell it will always think that just because I say I will pay for something means I am going to go through with it.

  So after perhaps 10 years of anticipation of not releasing a movie they could charge maybe $1000 a copy, I mean its a really long time so by not releasing it for X amount of time then the money people will pay should go up continuously for ever and ever. So after 20 years people should be willing to pay maybe $3000, and after 30 years $9000. I mean they don't say how much money the people will want to shell out the longer they have to wait so these numbers mixed in with their failed sense of logic make perfect sense.

  So does this mean I cannot sell Texas Toast or create a company called Texas Toast without paying UT for my use of the word Texas? Or maybe I create a new recipe and use texas in the name. What about Texas Instruments, I wonder if they have to pay UT to use Texas.

  I call utter bullshit on this. The only economic well being this protects is those of the failures. I also want even one example of where the public's safety has ever been at risk because someone downloaded something online.

  Same here, I bought a ton of games I probably never would have known about as well as a few I had been keeping my eyes on for a while. It got me into a lot of new games which is awesome and I discovered some companies who's future products I plan on purchasing as well. So in the end the reduction in price was a great thing all around.

  Cutting the price by 75% would require a 400% increase in sales to come out with equal profits. Anything higher and you actually end up making more. 533% and 5500% are greater than 400% so I assume they made more money. I would still like to see some dollar sign figures and whatnot though.
