    Moore’s medical license is in good standing. A state licensing division spokesperson would not say whether the agency is considering taking action against his license. The fact that an admitted fraud that put lives at risk and brags about it still has his medical license is all you need to know that utah's medical licensing division is completely and utterly worthless and the licenses they provide are worth even less when it comes to knowing if a doctor is actually qualified to practice medicine. As for the whole 'it's a personal choice' crap no, it's not. You have a right to not get vaccinated, but what you don't have is a right to fraudulently tell others that you have been and put their safety at risk by lying about your vaccination status. By their own arguments driving while drunk would be considered a 'personal choice' and it should be totally acceptable for doctors or on-site police to provide fake test results so people can get away with doing so.

    The only thing dumber than the techbro CEO's trying to frame AI as actual people are the people in the press and out that fall for it. It's a tool comprised of oodles of complex computer programing and the supporting hardware, it 'knows' what it's been 'taught' and does what it's told, nothing more and nothing less and the sooner people understand that the quicker fact-based conversations regarding it's actual costs and potential gains can be had(and for the techbros out there the quicker those conversations happen the less likely the public is to reject AI in general as over-hyped garbage and lies).

    For all intents and purposes Chuck Schumer is a republican, as the fictional family in his head that he's spent his political career pandering to are republicans. Once you see him through that lens his actions make much more sense.

    I'm sure they'll treat any sanctions against them just as seriously as they've treated the gag order that they're violating to get sanctioned, making it an empty threat that both sides know is empty. At this point it's blatantly clear that the regime has no interest in playing fair or by the law so the judge should just shut the whole thing down by dismissing the government's case against Garcia with prejudice. A few contempt of court charges(not just threats) would not be out of bounds either if the judges really wants to make clear that they're tired of the regime's open flaunting of the law and orders.

    One takes seconds. One creates a long-term record. They are not the same

    You have to provide your ID in person: The employee checks your ID, sees it looks valid, and promptly forgets you, leaving no record that you used the ID or where you used it at. You have to provide your ID online: The website checks your ID against a database of personal data that you had to provide that is certainly just as secure as it is accurate, creating a log on the ID archive and the website that you used your ID, where you used it and when you used it. Given the website might have to prove that they've been checking ID's down the line they will almost certainly keep that log for an extended period of time, resulting in an extremely tempting target for hackers to break in and acquire.

    'Will' start? I'd argue you should be using the past tense of 'has started' given the resurgence of measles. Pandemic should also probably be chance to pandemics, since I'm sure measles is only the first in a wave of infections that will ravage the country with a pro-plague psychopath in charge of the US' health.

    He's not just spineless, he's genuinely mentally ill

    I would say that democrats like Schumer are the party's greatest obstacle to getting democrat and independent voters to actually vote democrat but as the John Oliver episode on the spineless worm made clear Schumer has spent basically his entire political career pandering to fictional 'democrats' in his head which are in fact republicans, making him a republican in all but official party affiliation.

    I can’t say for sure that Kennedy is purposefully endangering children, but it’s difficult to think of what he’d do differently if that were his intention. I'm not willing to be nearly as generous. Whether or not Kennedy is intentionally putting the lives of countless children at risk there's no chance in hell that he hasn't had expert after expert telling him that his actions will do so with supporting evidence to back them up, so whether he's deliberately trying to maim and kill kids with his actions he's at the very least indifferent to that outcome so long as he never has to ever admit that he's wrong.

    I'm actually inclined to agree with them that calling it a 'war' would be an error but only because 'terrorism' seems a more apt label given the regime is engaging in violence and threats of violence in order to further their political and financial goals, behavior that seems to match the latter far more than it does the former.

    According to that definition, it appears that “Trump Derangement Syndrome” could also be applied to the intense adoration and worship of Trump that Republicans often exhibit. Perhaps right-wingers like Shamp and Wendy Rogers, who often fawn over Trump, should be in padded cells. Not, 'could also', rather 'would almost exclusively apply to'. People who loathe Trump, his words and his actions generally have very solid, reality-based reasons to do so. His cultists however seem to base their entire identities around him, putting him on the same level as a religious figure that can never be wrong to the point that if reality contradicts his words it's reality that they dismiss. It probably is a good idea to study the true form of TDS some time down the line to find out how literally tens of millions of people became infected with it, but step one is realizing that the only people suffering from it are those that consider it an insult for other people.

    Oh I agree it's not at all going to be easy, but compared to the alternative of having their reputation permanently turned into one of many US Baghdad Bob clones it's likely to be better for them long-term, and even if they consider a tainted reputation like that an acceptable price they'll still be sticking their necks out for a party that has no compunction against turning on it's own, leaving them ever wondering when it'll be their turn as they desperately try to prove how 'loyal' they are through increasingly insane loyalty 'tests'.

    A law that required politicians and would-be politicians to publicly post warnings in their press releases and on their campaign websites that politicians are known to lie and mislead people, accept money in exchange for preferential treatment of businesses, industries and individuals, and go into politics for their own gains rather than to 'serve the public' would be far more accurate so by their own logic they should all be legally required to post all of that, even if they don't agree that it's true.

    Objecting to the nazis in the bar only really works when they don't own it

    Painful as it may be for them to deal with the sooner they realize and accept that with the change in management they're working in the metaphorical nazi bar the better their odds of maintaining any credibility as journalists is going to be by leaving. While a public message like this may leave them feeling good for a short time that they made their feelings on CBS being turned full-blown propaganda mill clear if they want to do any journalism going forward they're going to have to find a new job elsewhere to do it.
