  • Sony Continues To Attack PS3 Jailbreakers: Threatens To Cut Them Off From PlayStation Network

    Shon Gale ( profile ), 17 Feb, 2011 @ 06:09am

The only Sony I ever bought that didn't die in a year (after the warranty) was a PS2. As a result we haven't bought Sony products in about 20 years. So I have no problem with Sony. They don't exist in my buying world since my kids are grown and can buy their own.

  • Senate Extends Controversial Patriot Act Spying Provisions By 90 Days; But Will They Debate Them During That Time?

  • Cable And Hollywood Fight Having Their Gatekeeper Status Taken Away

    Shon Gale ( profile ), 16 Feb, 2011 @ 07:01am

The MPAA and NCTA are rapidly approaching WHINER status. You know what they say about them that protest too much. They must have something to hide and will not stand scrutiny.
It happened to the Music Industry. I heard the horror stories from friends in the 70's about Managers Trademarking a bands name that was hot at the time and then taking all their money and putting them on salary. In those days it cost 6 dollars to trademark a name in California. Yea the abuses abound because of the laws. It works in the individuals favor only if they know the laws.
The point is that you can only steal from the people for so long and eventually it will come back and bite you. You know biting the hand that feeds you.

  • CBS Reporter Posts YouTube Video Of Grammys… Only To Have CBS Send Takedown Notice

    Shon Gale ( profile ), 15 Feb, 2011 @ 03:32pm

Let's see. I bought a TV and an Antenna andf picked up the Grammies on that TV using my antenna. Total cost? Not much and the Grammies cost nothing. So what's the big deal, I already saw it for free. In my mind once you give something away it is given and no longer costs or infringes. I don't think the networks even know what the laws are. Stupid people. You protect something you gave away. I guess their Lawyers had a slow day or needed to justify the expense account by actually doing some work, misguided or not.

  • As Expected, House Agrees To Extend Patriot Act With No Discussion, No Oversight

    Shon Gale ( profile ), 15 Feb, 2011 @ 07:22am

We need a revolution here! Now! How about a million old people marching, add to that a million Hispanics, add to that a million Blacks, and add to that the Tea Party and we have the beginning of a real revolution. None of our government listen to the peoples needs or wants. They just take and take and take our money and give it to every asshole dictatorship and other war-mongers while we sit around buried in our iBullshit and let them do it. Save 56 Billion in the budget now and stop paying other governments. Stop giving the Israelis $14,000 per person annually. I won't even get that much from Social Security if I get any.
Maybe the Egyptians and the Yemens and the Iranians will wake us up to a new method of government. A method that allows us to vote on our laws instead of a bunch of assholes elected by other states. Congress doesn't work. The Senate is a joke. When was the last time either one did anything but complain. I HATE WHINERS!

  • JC Penney Feels The Wrath Of Google For Using Spammy Techniques To Get To The Top

    Shon Gale ( profile ), 15 Feb, 2011 @ 06:47am

Well Google Search sucks and anyone that watched Jeopardy last night knows what a real search engine can do. Google is a stupid word search in a database with unverified links and as a business person I wouldn't spend a dime on it. How innovative is that?
JC Penney on the other hand should know better. I like to go to JC Penney and shop. It is a welcome alternative to Macy's(Crap) Sears(more crap) and the real crap WalMart. I actually really like JC Penney Jeans and still wear them.
