It makes sense to me if you sign up for a month and don't cancel you get charge the next month.
What the issue you want Amazon to email every asking if they really wanted to sign up?
You are a big boy if after 30 days it up to you to opt out. Most companies offer 14 days or 30 days trials and after that you are charge unless you cancel.
Ebay need the DOJ to look into them. I am a buyer but however when a company force paypal (which they own) only then charge a % and then % to post an auction then % when price is sold anf final % of shipping.
This is not right and should be against the law. There should only be two fees one for posting and one for selling. Ebay should allow you to use Google checkout.
How is it hurting Netflix? People keep their account to get more movies.
Also you must be new to Netflix they do the slow down if you rent to much. if you get movies then resend them back too fast the next month they will delay your shipping a day or two.
Really this is a none issue with me but a lot of people complain.
ATI is crap so I didn't see why AMD would buy them. It has cause nothing but trouble for AMD I think it's time to dump ATI and get back to making the best cpu's.
just seems copies movies don't last as long but I don't see an issue as long as the person is not selling them.
Most people don't copy movies from Netflix, Blockbusters is because a lot of people just don't know how. I run in to people all the time that just don't know or don't want to take the time to do it.
I think people would buy movies if they stop all this DRM crap or lower the price to like $9.95 a movie. If we are not allow to skip ads etc then at least they can do is drop the price under $10!

Making it hard to play sucks DRM or not
I own the movie Crank 2 on Blu-Ray and it take a bit to load which makes me not want to watch it much.
I understand protecting your stuff but making it hard to play really sucks. This should not be the case when you pay an avg $10 more over a DVD.
So if any OS reads fat it then owes Microsoft $$? Here my problem is Amazon doesn't write software so why would they have to pay Microsoft anything?
If I go out and buy a server running Linux it's not my issue if it using Microsoft patents. The maker of the Linux should be sued. Redhat etc.
So why is Amazon paying?
The Summer Olympics was awesome
I expected the same treatment for Winter as they did for the Summer Olympics.
I had like 5 on demand channels so I could watch whatever sport I wanted.
Winter Olympics has none of that you get to see what is on NBC Networks same as they did in the summer but, without the on demand channels.
They brought the Summer Olympics in to the future but they just plain drop the ball on the Winter Olympics.
Why should you not be charge if you stay in?
It makes sense to me if you sign up for a month and don't cancel you get charge the next month.

RIAA hates everyone!!!
They don't care if you buy music or not they hate everyone. Their main goal is to sue the world.
They even lie to sue people.
