Has the Attorney General ever heard of the Supremacy Clause?
The way it was worded, it looks as if most of the videos that are currently free will stay free. For most shows, Hulu only displays the five most recent episodes anyways. If they were to put the entire series online for their "Hulu Plus" deal, I think that might be worth the subscription.
I hope for irony's sake that someone there bought "Dante's Inferno" in that transaction.
Not that I would recommend the game or anything.
Ah, the Rule of First Adopters.
Agreed. I've been seeing it since at least February.
Wouldn't the first person to tweet about an event then gain a monopoly over the reporting of said event? I'm sure that the news companies would love that.
Actually, these rules have been in place since the English Bill of Rights, when saying the wrong thing in Parliament could get your head off.
The earthquake story reminds me of a recent xkcd comic:

I'm disappointed. I thought that EA was taking the high road recently, with their lack of Intrusive DRM on Dragon Age and Mass Effect 2. This saddens me.
They'll probably try to push through some ridiculous term like "Copyrapists."
The Facebook group in question just changed the name to "United Citizens against Citizens United."
The Symantec page mentioned that the name "Liu Hong" appeared several times in relation to the DLL; it's possible that this is the name of the person who wrote it. Or the name of someone they don't like.
The First Amendment prohibits the government from quashing free speech. American Idol is not the government.
Those side effects are made public to anyone wishing to purchase the drugs. The side effects of this DRM are not.

It seems to me that the point is being made.
Hopefully, when McQuillian refuses to pay, Atkinson will take him to court. If any of Atkinson's challenges in the election are remotely intelligent, they'll rush to represent McQuillian pro bono. The publicity they could get out of that would be incredible.
If they got any nude images, they should be charged with Production of Child Pornography. What they have done is significantly worse than the whole "sexting" incident. Will the be charged... unlikely.
Indeed, I am worried that this may be the future. At least it isn't SecuROM.
I legitimately don't have a problem with launch-day DLC. Usually, the game is complete without it, and it provides an incentive to buy new without alienating customers.

But then nobody would pass it on.
