  Too bad GoDaddy - already warned the customers I have and they are pulling their domains - they didn't like the concept that you support SOPA ever.
  
  I don't care about attacking their rights - but I and the people I help with web pages/hosting have the right to GTFO too and it's being exercised.

  Just because SOPA goes through - don't mean I'll buy more DVD's or CD's - actually, if it goes through, I don't think I'll buy any.
  
  And take note - I bought at least 20 over the holiday.

  Well, I already wrote my reps - told them a vote for SOPA is 4 votes for their competition - all of legal voting age in my house agreed if they vote for SOPA - we all vote against them.

  At the very least, it raises questions about who the staffers are really working for when they're in Congress: the people... or their future employers?
  
  Who pays to put politicians in office?
  
  Once you answer that - answer this: by virtue of the above answer then, who do politicians represent?
  
  And thirdly; who hires the staffers?

  The 1st amendment makes it difficult to make laws that dictate who can or cannot petition the government.
  
  For *individual citizens* - there is no guaranteee for corporations or organizations or any rights, in the constitution in any event.
  
  Problem now is the 'voice' of a corporation, lobby, or organization is heard far above that of any individual, which is contrary to the concept of the Constitution.

  As soon as the internet is 'shaped' like corporate America wants it to be - it will cease to be 'trendy' and will be as annoying as junk mail, store catalogs, and tv commercials.
  
  People will cease to use it nearly as much, I suspect.
  
  But that's been the same fate of every "over corporitized" concept.

  Kinda hard to be totally insured against a negligent death - I wouldn't settle for whatever the insurance company wanted, if someone in my family was killed.. heh
