Is there really a problem here? Spain is hardly the only Spanish speaking country.
Google doesn't need to literally shut down Google News in Spain. Articles about Spanish news stories published online in other countries, especially Spanish speaking countries, like Mexico.
In fact, any Spanish paper wishing to maintain it's online presence can simply move all their online activities abroad, maybe that'll require spiting up the company or something.
And Spanish blogs aren't really effected by this law, right? Google can still index Spanish blogs, right? Just make that indexing faster so Spanish people looking for news see the Spanish blogs : https://www.google.es/#q=Anarquismo+blog+Espa%C3%B1a https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anarchism_in_Spain
Mushrooms are extremely helpful in reducing your social alcohol consumption too :
Psilocybin does not play well with alcohol. At small doses, the alcohol might override the psilocybin, meaning you wasted your mushrooms. At larger doses, the psilocybin negates the alcohol, but meaning you wasted your drink and maybe weaken your mushrooms. Worse, you might drink alcohol excessively because the psilocybin masks the effects. Never drink on mushrooms.
I've thus found the ultimate excuse for not drinking at crazy parties is : "Sorry, I cannot drink. Alcohol might weaken my mushroom trip."
It'd work as an excuse even if you weren't on mushrooms of course, but small sub-hallucinogenic mushroom doses will make you quite happy and "on" for the party, but not sluggish or groggy like pot. Inexpensive low calorie night out. :)
Do not take fully hallucinogenic doses if you actually want to party because most people become withdrawn from overstimulation when they start hallucinating. Always carry healthy low or zero calorie food items like celery, tangerines, cherries, etc. when using hallucinogens because the stimulate your appetite, like pot. And it's funny feeding tasty fruit to the nutters on MDMA.
I'd this wonderful Italian flatmate when I lived in Paris. After I left, a French defense contractor hired him for logistics. His position required a French security clearance, probably only low level, but a security clearance nonetheless.
Turns out, his boss had never liked him, she would've preferred hiring some Chinese lady, but the French government initially said the clearance sounded too tricky. After 1 year or so, she finagled a security clearance for said Chinese lady, fired my friend, and hired the her.
I question your "security" if you're permitting low level bureaucrats to finagle security clearances and jobs in secure areas for Chinese nationals.
There is one small measure I'd suggest that might reduce injustice somewhat : Do not permit federal prosecutors to become federal judges or win primaries for elected office. If you see someone seeking power, then google them, and say something.
Any time we hear about a proposed judicial appointment or a new candidate in some race, just google them and find their past jobs. If they were a federal prosecutor, then google more to find if they ever brought charges under the CFAA, DMCA, etc. or if any drug cases stand out as unjust. If so, then make a stink online to help derail their career advancement.
Just yell "Federal prosecutor [name] seeking [position] abused the CFAA to jail innocent people, help oppose him in Aaron Swartz memory." We'll come running to help.
If federal prosecutors cannot so easily become federal judges or representatives then they'll lose considerable lobbying power over time.
Is there actually a CyberWeek this year? Congress is considering a new CISPA and a much worse CFAA, but are they related? I'd like to know because I'd like to know how to tell people to write their congressmen about them.

How to direct our anger towards the DOJ usefully
