"This blunt approach is not the product of an informed, open, or deliberative process"
Well, of course it isn't informed: we don't know EVERYTHING about how they're spying on us yet, so until we know everything about it, we can't make an informed decision. Of course, all of those methods are classified, so we can't tell you about them, but just as soon as you know all about those methods, we can talk about them. It all makes PERFECT sense.
Snowden is clearly so much worse than all of them because he did his crimes? ON THE INTERNET. Thus making it a totally original and innovative crime that had never been done before. It's obvious.
Of course he was aiding the enemy. As if there could be any doubt. Any information that informs the American public of the secret crimes committed in their names is aiding the true enemy of the American government: the people it rules over.
Well, i.am confused as to how who this guy is, to be honest. I probably couldn't identify a single piece of his music if you asked me to.
Of course he was aiding the enemy. If the enemy is the American public, and for that matter, the rest of the world.
Well, that's two of the three things removed from the One that were killing my interest in it. Now you just have to remove that Kinect?
Yup, still not surprised in the slightest.
And why isn't the RIAA/MPAA going after all of these pirates? Hmm? Why isn't the FBI knocking down the NSA's doors for all of this unlicensed copying?
Can't forget Pride. Takes a lot to think you could pull what they wanted to pull off.
You really think there's any question of which one the government will side against at this point?
It's incredible. No matter how bad the world is making me feel, this Prenda stuff manages to cheer me up to no end.
Or the cheese shop sketch.
"Tell me, how do you know this is the best law firm in the city?"
"Well, it's so clean."
"Yes, it's certainly uncontaminated by an understanding of the law."
Well, on the plus side, this "constitution-free zone" certainly explains why DC's gone so crazy in recent years: apparently, the constitution does not exist there.
Wow. Not even a week since Prenda Law tried to back out of their BS, and this happens.
Well, I believe there's only one proper response to Games Workshop's opening salvo here.
WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAUUUUUUUUUGH!!!!!
Time for me to make an off the record comment of my own: you'd expect someone so involved in legal matters and law would have better grammar.
Still not quite as crazy as the Prenda Law debacle. But amusing.
You know, I honestly thought they'd run out of ways to surprise me, and that they'd just come up with new variations of tricks they'd played before. Oh, how I can be proven wrong. This is AMAZING.
"I can't imagine the blended, cheaper version would have resulted in fewer terrorists thwarted or arrested."
Don't you get it? If they'd COMBINED the two programs like you suggested, Terrorists already in custody would escape, resulting in a new loss of Terrorists arrested! And then the Terrorists would win! It all makes sense!
PS: You see, I capitalize the word "Terrorists" because it gets thrown around so much it might as well be a worshipped entity.
And of course, you can't forget that Pok?PETA were basically the bad guys of the last game. It's just so many mis-firings in their brains it goes straight through horrifying and comes out hilarious. As a good friend of mine put it, the irony of this is so delicious she wants to dip it in chocolate and slowly eat it while lying on silk sheets.
My friend is kind of weird. And I love that.
Re: Urrrgh Feinstein
God, tell me about it: she's mine too. Freaking hell, the woman needs to be stopped.
