  Comcast vs Verizon

  I currently have Comcast after getting upset with Verizon DSL and switching. I am in the process of switching back to Verizon because of these changes at Comcast (thankfully I didn't sign the contract for 2 years). 'True broadband competition' is apparently defined as having to choose between the lesser of 2 evils. I am in the middle of the city too, not in a rural area. Thanks FCC, and f-u Comcast!

  Ah never mind I see. If you do threaded (like I do) you only get bullets. If you view in 'flattened' mode you see all the numbers.

  I thought the control scheme on elebits was horrendous. The only reason that game is hard is because it is very difficult to point the wii-mote at small dots on the screen. I had high hopes for that game too. The controller shouldn't be the reason the game is hard, the game should be the reason the game is hard.

  Everyone I know with a wii plays wii sports all of the time. I ask them 'what else can we play?' and they always say there are a few or something like that. I have seen many games on the wii where the control scheme is the limiting factor (cooking mama, wii play). If the developers figure out how to make the control scheme work for games then I will buy a wii (to add to my 360). That is if I can find one.

  I agree. Think, that mistyped domain name could have lead you to a phishing site that was convincing enough to solicit some personal information. I would take typo squatter ads any day, no-script and adblock will get rid of them anyway.

  The first 2 pages of google searches for RSA homes are now full of this article. I had to search complaint plus the term to find any.
  So they succeeded in getting the complaint off of the google searches and replaced it with bad press. nice!

  Thanks for putting into words what I was thinking. This Ledbetter piece did read like 'propaganda bullshit' as you say. He says he is going to debunk Mike's ideas and then doesn't even come close to producing a convincing argument, or much of an argument at all.
  
  All I got from the article is Mike is a right wing, marxist and his writing should be ignored because of it.

  I took a quick glace through the patent and it looks like Mike's summary of it is fairly accurate. The only complicated part is them saying that they are using a method of selection that 'normalizes the probability that the items of any one candidate set will be selected in relation to the items of the other candidate sets'.
  
  So they patented selecting N from N+ using a rand() function. (but on the web so it is patentable)
