  Oh and I forgot, if you don't have the ability to prove ownership of those boxes of cookies with the proper license then you have to pay a fine for each individual cookie in every box.

  Actually it's the Girl Scouts that sell the cookies. They Boy Scouts just show up afterward and ask if you have a license for those boxes of cookies.

  The station was violating the Eagles trademarks by putting their logo's, helmets, pictures of players etc on a bunch of promotional items for the radio station.

  If by "promotional items" you mean tickets then yea. Otherwise what the hell are you talking about. I read the first several pages of the complaint via link provided and the only thing they mention is using the tickets to the game for promotional use.

  That's what I was thinking too. Why doesn't this "Radio Station" or in Doug's case the "TV Station" just call out the team for what it's doing. I'm sure a whole bunch of bad press will take care of the issue right quick.

  Apparently it's not just America as in this case, The Pirate Bay case and to the point the majority of stories like this, they're all other countries.

  TPB top 100 files on any given day are 99.9999999999% all the time stolen / pirated / infringing material.

  It's a pretty good sampling of what the public is actively downloading at any given time.

  So when "99.9999999999%" of the people who share data over the internet are "infringing" on a copyright, what needs to change? The people or the law?
