if it weren't for the 419 scammers we wouldn't have the infinitely entertaining 419 baiting sites.
You know what Stephen Heaslip does at Bluesnews.com when users complain about overbearing ads that destroy bandwidth? He takes care of the problem ad. He doesn't turn around and treat his readers like fucking wayward children for wanting it gone.
The only thing worthwhile on the site is Yahtzee's reviews and even those are getting tiresome.
If the site "dies" it won't be from ad blockers.
My own issue is the elitism displayed by so-called seasoned veterans. They show their insecurity by denigrating anyone who chooses to comment on issues that was once the sole domain of professional, salaried writers.
Yes, many bloggers ARE "idiots" but folks should be looking at the new medium as a Chinese Buffet.....take what you like and leave the rest. If you're a so-called "professional", take the high road and show us all how it's done. Don't run off at the mouth like a butthurt little girl.
is that what a seasoned journo comes up with for a description? A fucking worn-out stereotype of the fat kid in his moms basement?
Its time for Jerry to take the big bus to the dog track.
That has to be significantly effective in Japan since reputation is everything to them.
if all else fails against an African cyber-attack just remember, we have 4chan.....
"billions" of times stronger? Wouldn't something like that be pulling cars off the road onto your magnet or something?
I read about this yesterday. I think this is a bit different in that these kids mentally tortured this girl almost every waking moment. The school and the parents were told about the situation repeatedly but failed to take action.
I don't wholly disagree but given that we don't know the specific details of what Hula showed NBC back then I'd say you might be overgeneralizing and jumping the gun a bit Mike.
lol-ing at the amount of folks discovering this script due to Facebook's butthurt.
"worthless bag of monkey shit" = win
I mailed in the EA forum thread where one of EA's PR guys tried to convince folks that there was going to be "No DRM". Following that half the forum posted a link to Wikipedia's definition of DRM showing that requiring a constant connection is indeed DRM no matter what way you want to spin it.

PC gamers tend to be a lot more informed than their console counterparts when it comes to this kind of corporate fuckery so its a bit odd that someone at EA would even try to sell this "no DRM" line to the community.
so does this mean if the state of Georgia imprisons a minor for an offense and it turns out that the minor in question is innocent, does the state attorney general get listed as a sex-offender under this law?
Never heard of it until today.
Brilliant stuff
lol, its the story of European expansionism.
This is truly unfortunate for NewEgg. There are very very few companies that I can say I'm loyal to and NewEgg is one of them.
I had bought a video card that had a bad GPU and sent it back for a replacement. Not only did they replace it but they wanted to reward me for being such a loyal customer (I had been a regular at the time). They called 6 times before they finally got me on the phone just to make sure I knew about my "reward" (some rather expensive RAM at the time) and whether I was happy or not. If half the businesses in the US were run like NewEgg we'd be in pretty damn good shape.
I like pie...
Re: The best approach
go to "The trophy room"
the best.
