Hey, you were doing fine until you lapsed into hurling insults. At that point, your entire comment gets tossed out the window.
Do you honestly think that Snowden has any "integrity" about anything? That he can go self-righteously bananas over freedom of information on the one hand, only to find himself working for "the wrong side"? The boy has a lot of learning to do!
America still is the hope of the free world, at least the last time I checked the lineups of people trying to get here. In case you didn't know, the rest of the world is nowhere near as blessed as we are. They shake their heads and ask,"Why do some Americans defend terrorists and anarchists like Snowden and his ilk?" The answer is that there will always be sociopathic losers like Snowden, and we can't give up trying to rein them in.
Yes, I'm defending this. Damn right. The sociopathic arguments presented here against the NSA are self-centered and self-serving. The government is us, and so is the NSA. We're doing what we need to do to protect our friends and neighbors. If that means connecting the dots between your friends and phone calls to Yemen, then that's what we need to do. My heart bleeds for all your Iraqi buddies hurt while trying to blow each other to smithereens, but my heart bleeds more for my neighbors who now have to submit to Sharia law in America.
Yeah, so smug, and look what eventually happened to the Black Panthers. Like Manning, Snowden, et al, they were a bunch of self-righteous, self-centered, anarchists with no understanding of the world around them. Sociopaths like the Panthers and the leakers are always stunned to find themselves on the losing end of our affections.
" isn't his punishment disproportional?"
No, he was insubordinate. He's a grown man & will get what he deserves. It's a lesson for the others in the services. To let him go opens the door to anarchy in the armed forces. We don't need that.
Really, who cares. They're both a pair of self-righteous juvenile goofs who probably got a serious caes of PTSD from watching too many Batman movies. God help us when we have clueless morons like this trying to help the rest of us.
How is it possible that we'd ever be "under attack"? Isn't everyone else on this planet kind, peaceful, and generous? What do we have that anyone else would want? Perhaps we should let all the Afghan youth come here peacefully, no restrictions, to help us become gentler. We could bring the Arab Spring here to help us become more civilized and democratic.!
NSA is not a "they", it is "us". We voted for our representatives to maintain and protect us, and the NSA is part of it. We didn't vote for Reporters Without Borders or the Arab Spring or Manning to watch over us, we voted for our reps to do the dirty work. I'm really suspicious of people calling for anarchy & bloodshed.
Lots of us can't be bothered with the nitty-gritty of encryption, so we just use Blackberry apps (email, messaging, browser, etc). It's way easier than having to actually think about this stuff.
Actually, I'm cool with the NSA linking up phone numbers from here to Yemen. That's what good spying is about. But then I'm not phoning Yemen every day.
To be honest, I'm not that excited about encouraging these unnamed self-righteous goofs to place a fatwa upon my ass, so I'm trying to avoid naming them.
It's also available (free download) on Gutenberg, in any format you want.
Yes, it's public domain. It's available on Gutenberg, a free download.
Does anybody here have any idea what NSA (or even TSA) are trying to do? They're trying to find enemies of non-Muslim American people while being strapped into a politically correct body-brace. It's nothing to do with Big Brother's agenda. It's working within the chicken-sh*t guidelines set down by our lily-livered politicians. Until we're ready to call a spade a spade, we're going to have to put up with cavity searches of little old ladies and Christian clergymen. This non-issue is going to be a bit of a nuisance until we're ready to name the enemy of free people everywhere.
The NSA is acting the exactly the same as the airport TSA. Everyone gets inspected, regardless of their degree of threat. Congress has asked for it to be done this way. This happens because we people are too chicken-shit to start identifying who it is that we're worried about. We're worried about Muslims wreaking terror on us and our neighbors, but we're too sissy to name the problem. The result is EVERYONE gets body-searched, and EVERYONE gets their messages spied upon. When we succeed in killing off the TSA airport security and the NSA message security, our defenses will be down, and the Muslims will have won the battle.
The Queen prank is a good example of the seriousness of secret recordings. They cause a lot of real problems afterward. The objective of whacking the perps in such cases is to deter unauthorized recordings. The pranking is irrelevant. So, yes, Barber & Kaiser should do hard time. Sorry!
This is jihad music. Very popular with the marathon bomber dudes.
Re: Re: Black Panthers said . . .
Please forgive me. I know it's wrong but I can't resist hurling really deep, meaningful, pointed insults at clueless Black Panther supporters :-)
